Greetings from two hours north of home! I’m up at my parents’ place this weekend—hanging out and testing some more foilboarding, mono-wing style, behind the boat. Heck, I even brought my wing and might give it a go off my sister’s SUP—haha. Here is what went down this week, and everyone cheer for JJ McCarthy and the Vikings on Sunday night football.: Newsletters:

Gym Tunes of the Week: Goldfish - Live in Concert at Sonic Rites 2024 Finland The first time I heard these guys was when I took over as the Director of Loud Rock at WMTU 91.9 around 1995. The former director was a huge fan of the more “noise” and off-the-wall but super interesting stuff at the time. He played their 1989 album “Streecleaner,” and I was like “What the heck is this noise?” And by the time I was done listening to the album, I was a converted fan. That album still lives up today, many, many years later. I never expected to have them perform live 35 years later, but they did. Justin Broadrick is genius. Check them out. Whatever the reason, lifting heavy was not going to happen no matter how much coffee or pre-workout I snorted. So I pivoted. Cardio instead of clanging iron. Was it optimal? Nah.Was it smarter than dragging my CNS through...
