Last day to enroll

As a heads up, enrollment closes tonight, Monday, at midnight PST.

After that, it will be months before the next enrollment window opens.

I want to be clear about something that sets this apart from every other certification you've probably taken.

When you enroll in the Flex Diet Cert, you get my private email address.

Not a support ticket system.

Not an AI chatbot named Clippy’s Revenge.

My actual email.

You can ask me questions about:

  • The course material
  • Your specific clients
  • Edge cases
  • Implementation issues
  • Anything you're stuck on

This is why enrollment is open only twice a year, for one week.

I don't want this turning into a ghost-town certification where you buy it and never hear from the creator again.

I want to actually help everyone who joins.

Don't just take my word for it.

Here's what Rena, the RD (17 years of clinical experience) had to say:

"The last time the Flex Diet Cert was open for registration, I signed up immediately!

I had listened to a podcast a few weeks prior where Dr Mike was a guest speaking about the concept of met flex and about how he created simple action items to help clients create change. I was intrigued!

His words resonated so much with me! I am a Registered Dietitian and have been working clinically for over 17 years.

As much as we learned in school about nutrition and metabolism, a lot of the work I do with my clients has been self-taught, especially the coaching and practical implementation of the actions.

While working with my clients, I often questioned myself and my depth of knowledge as I often felt like some key pieces of knowledge and understanding weren't as concrete as I would have liked.

I found myself trying to look up answers in my massive metabolism textbook from university and still not finding the clear, concise explanation I was looking for.

Needless to say, that thousand page textbook is not the most user friendly!

Right when I started the FDC, complicated concepts started to be so much clearer for me.

Dr Mike explains metabolic pathways and enzyme reactions in a way that anyone can understand, even if you're not a biochemical science geek like me!

He also ties each concept up into 5 very specific action items and explains how to behaviourally discuss and implement them with your clients.

He reviews all the recent literature and evidence thoroughly for you that I felt so confident with his conclusion and interpretation into action items!

As much as I love learning and understanding the background and how he came to each category of 5 action items, the items themselves are so simple that you and your clients will be easily able to incorporate them into your daily life.

I love asking questions and Dr Mike is amazing at answering them. Any question I sent him, he responded with a detailed answer, often with a voice note that I replayed a few times to hear and understand the specifics. He is an excellent teacher both within the course material and beyond.

Honestly, Dr Mike's FDC is phenomenal.

I am still working through his phys flex course so stay tuned for that review. It has helped me clarify the research to feel confident about what is evidence based and what is just opinion.

As a result, I have been able to guide my clients along a much straighter path to weight loss and health so we both don't get distracted by a lot of that bogus nutrition information out there.

If you're a fitness or health professional and working with clients to lose weight or build a healthy lifestyle, the Flex Diet Cert will change your practice as it has mine! Don't even question signing up!" – Rena the RD

Winging it works early on, just like lifting as anything you do is better than nothing. A little more protein? You lose weight. Cut some carbZ? You get leaner Add some fasting? Even better. Everything works because almost anything is better. Then something shifts. Life gets heavier. You and your clients get older. Recovery drops. Training tolerance narrows. Stress compounds. You require a different input now, too. …And suddenly, the thing that worked last month stops working. So you try...

Tomorrow at midnight PST, enrollment for the FDC closes. So let me be very clear about what you're getting when you enroll in the Flex Diet Cert. Not hype. Not promises. Just the actual deliverables. → 8 Modules, 40 Action Steps Each of the 8 metabolic flexibility interventions gets its own complete module covering: The ongoing physiology of metabolic flexibility (why it works) A deep research dive on each intervention condensed into 1 hour using language you can understand with complete...

I could have built the Flex Diet Cert in a vacuum. Just me, my research, my experience, tons of coffee, and my opinions packaged into 8 interventions... ...But here's the problem with that approach: No matter how much I know about metabolic flexibility, I'm not the world's leading expert on protein metabolism. I'm not the top researcher on sleep and circadian biology. I'm not the guy who literally discovered the molecular mechanisms of muscle growth. So I didn't pretend to be. Instead, I...
