Will AI Replace Online Coaches?

The Phys Flex Cert closed a midnight PST and huge thanks to everyone who enrolled. Super stoked for you!!

Today I sit down with my longtime friend Bryan Krahn, a personal trainer since 1997, CSCS since 2005, full-time online coach since 2014, fitness writer and author of two books with Men's Health.

Will AI replace online coaches, or only the ones who stop being human?

Bryan and I get candid about why paying for expertise makes you a better coach, how we each use (and distrust) AI in coaching and writing, and whether coaches should tell clients when they use it.

We also get into contest-prep second opinions, personal experiences with peptides and TRT (opinion and experience, not advice), why changing a lab marker is not the same as changing the outcome, and my simple rower-based cardio plan.

Bryan's thoughts on peptides, TRT and other compounds are personal experience and opinion, not medical advice.

As always, talk to a qualified healthcare professional before changing any medication or supplement routine.

Hola from the Lexus dealer. Black Sunshine, my 2017 GX460, threw a check-engine light. Two hours later, the verdict… ...some furry little bastard had chewed through the wiring. Warranty coverage? HA! Apparently rodent wire buffets are on me. Speaking of unexpected stressors, the Physiologic Flexibility Certification closes TONIGHT at 11:59 PM Pacific. Here's why that matters. Life WILL throw some massive stressors your way. Could be tomorrow. New yeart. Or a tiny electrician with teeth...

Roscoe gets the morning off which is nice way to say that he is benched for his red light fiasco the other day. Today, I want to tell you the real reason I built the Physiologic Flexibility Certification. And since enrollment closes tomorrow Monday night, you deserve to hear it. For almost 20 years, I've watched smart coaches and dedicated athletes do everything "right." Training? Dialed in. Nutrition? Solid. Sleep? Pretty darn good. Yet somehow... Their results hit a brick wall. One client...

Roscoe discovered red light therapy on Thursday. By Friday, our Iron Intern had zip-tied four panels, a reptile heat lamp, and what looked suspiciously like a stolen Spirit Halloween decoration into a glowing booth in the supply closet. On the door: “Do not disturb. GainZ in progress Bro.” I asked why he needed the reptile lamp. “Dr Mike, I have a hypothesis. Where’s the heavy stuff?” His hypothesis? If a little red light helps recovery, three hours inside his homemade raccoon toaster should...
